The expression for the angular acceleration is:
\alpha =  \frac{\Delta \omega}{\Delta t}
where \Delta \omega = \omega-\omega _0 is the variation of the angular velocity, with \omega _0 being the starting velocity (which in our problem is zero), and \Delta t being the time interval. So we can write the angular velocity after an angle \delta \theta as
\omega (\delta \theta) = \alpha \Delta t
We also know the relationship between tangential velocity, v, and the angular velocity v:
v=\omega r
with r being the radius of the wheel. Substituting \omega into the previous equation, we can write an expression for v:
v(\delta \theta )= \alpha r \Delta t

Which of the following is an example of a long-term climatic change?
Vaselesa [24]
Winter and Summer happen every year, pretty much on schedule.
When they happen, the 'weather' changes, but the 'climate' doesn't.

If you live in the right place, then you might get several blizzards every
Winter.  They're changes in the 'weather' but not in the 'climate'.

If the temperature where you live stays well below zero for a hundred
years, then you might be entering an ice age.

Or let's say your town has had blizzards every Winter for the past 20 years
but it never had one for 100 years before that.

Either of these would be a climatic change.

Consider the two electron arrangements for neutral atoms a and b. Are atoms a and b the same element? a - 1s2, 2s2, 2p6, 3s1 b -
Agata [3.3K]

The two neutral atoms A and B have the same number of electrons and atomic number 11. So, the two elements are said to be same.

The electronic configuration of the element is the arrangement of the electrons in the atom of the element in energy levels, orbitals around the nucleus.

The electrons in the atoms of the element with lowest energy are written first before those with higher energy levels. Thus, the electronic configuration shows the electrons in the atoms of the element arranged in order of increasing energies.

The electronic configuration of atoms are given as

A = 1s² 2s² 2p⁶ 3s¹

B = 1s² 2s² 2p⁶ 5s¹

The number of electrons in both the elements is 11. Therefore, their atomic number is also the same i.e, 11. So, both the elements are the same.

Two long straight wires enter a room through a window. One carries a current of 3.0 ???? into the room while the other carries a
Tju [1.3M]

Answer:

\begin{equation}\\\oint_LB.dl\\\end{equation} = -8πx10^{-7}

Explanation:

If you need calculate

\begin{equation}\\\oint_L B.dl\\ \end{equation}

You can use the Ampere's Law

\begin{equation}\\\oint_L B.dl\\ \end{equation} = I_{in}μ

      Where I_{in}: Current passing through the window

                   μ : Free space’s magnetic permeability

                   μ = 4πx10^{-7} T.m.A^{-1}

Then

\begin{equation}\\\oint_L B.dl\\ \end{equation} = (3-5)4πx10^{-7}

\begin{equation}\\\oint_L B.dl\\ \end{equation} = -8πx10^{-7}

When a lens refracts different wavelengths at different angles, causing the light in the lens that passes through the edges to b
kondaur [170]
The technical name was kinda given in the question, and I'm guessing that's what they want: Dispersion.  It refers to the phenomenon of different frequencies traveling at different speeds through a medium.  This is due to the fact that the relative electric permittivity is a complex quantity that is a function of frequency.  The relative electric permittivity, \epsilon_{r}, is related to the speed of the wave in the medium by the relation:
c' =  \frac{c}{ \sqrt{   \epsilon_{r}  } }
Since this speed is a function of permittivity, and permittivity is a function of frequency, speed is a function of frequency.
