Answer:

Percentage yield = 38.37%

Explanation:

2Al + 3H₂SO₄ → Al₂(SO₄)₃ + 3H₂

from the equation of reaction, 2 moles of Al reacts to produce 1 moles of Al₂(SO₄)₃

2 moles of Al contains = (2 × 27) = 54g of Al

1 mole of Al₂(SO₄)₃ contains (1 × 342.15) = 342.15g of Al₂(SO₄)₃

54g of Al produces 342.15g of Al₂(SO₄)₃,

46g of Al will produce x g of Al₂(SO₄)₃

Solve for x

X = (46 × 342.15) / 54

X = 15738.9 / 54

X = 281.46g

Theoretical yield of Al₂(SO₄)₃ = 281.46g

Percentage yield of a substance = (actual yield / theoretical yield) × 100

Actual yield = 108g

Theoretical yield = 281.46

% yield = (108 / 281.46) × 100

% yield = 0.3837 × 100

%yield = 38.37

The percentage yield of Al₂(SO₄)₃ is 38.37

cycloocta-1,4-diene- isolated double bond

cycloocta-1,3-diene- conjugated double bond

cyclodeca-1,2-diene- cumulated double bond

cycloocta-1,3,5,7-tetraene- conjugated double bond

cyclohexa-1,3,5-triene (benzene) - conjugated double bond

penta-1,2,4-triene- cumulated and conjugated double bond

Explanation:

A conjugated double bond is a system that contains alternate double and single bonds. It is renowned for its unusual stability.

A cumulated double bond is a double bond system involving about three atoms e.g C=C=C.

An isolated double bond is a system of double bonds separated by more than one single bond.

How many moles of Co would be required to react with 6.14m of P4
insens350 [35]

The number of moles of Co that would be required to react with 6.14 moles of P4 would be 36.84 moles

Stoichiometric calculations

From the equation of the reaction:

6Co + P4 → 2Co3P2

For every 1 mole of P4, 6 moles of Co is required for complete reaction.

Thus, the mole of Co that would be needed for 6.14 moles of P4 would be:

                      6 x 6.14 = 36.84 moles
