Dissolving salt into water is a physical change. The salt is still salt & the water is still water. Nothing new is made. Although the salt is dissolved into the water & makes it salty, they are still two different entities.

Hope that helps!

which of the following methods is most appropriate to use to determine the number of different-colored components in a sample of
Andru [333]

The answer is paper chromatography using different solvents with a range of polarities as the mobile phase.

Paper chromatography- Low-molecular-mass molecules can be separated using paper chromatography based on how evenly they are distributed in the stationary and mobile phases. Paper chromatography is regarded as a potent analytical technique because of its low cost and the availability of numerous procedures for the separation of chemicals.

A small amount of a sample solution is poured onto a strip of chromatography paper in a paper chromatography experiment. After that, a solvent is used to suspend the chromatography paper. The sample solution's constituent components split out into bands of distinct hue as the solvent goes up the paper.

The speed of the chromatography process is influenced by the solvent's polarity. Therefore, we may conclude that all of the other components in the mixture move more quickly during the chromatography experiment if the solvent's polarity is increased.

Thus, answer is paper chromatography using different solvents with a range of polarities as the mobile phase.

HELP ASAP!! how can nuclear energy be classified as an inexhaustible energy resource??
seropon [69]

Answer:

No, and yes. As there is a finite amount of matter in the

universe, only so much can be converted to make energy. There will

be a limit, though it is a long, long way from where we are

Which sample contains the largest number of molecules?
joja [24]
The largest number of molecules  is the same as the largest number of moles of this molecules
to calculate the number of moles you have to divide the mass by the molar mass

molar masses:
CO2:  44,01 g/mol
CH4: 16,04 g/mol
CBr4: 331,63 g/mol
CHBr3: 252,73 g/mol

largest nº of mol= 100/(the smallest molar mass possible)
= 100/16,04
=6,23 moles

all other molecules would be smaller than 6,23 moles because the molar mass is so high.

To improve air quality and obtain a useful product, chemists often remove sulfur from coal and natural gas by treating the conta
Norma-Jean [14]

Answer:

1) Increase

2) Decreases

3) increases

4) Increase

Explanation:

These questions can only be answered by considering the principle which states that, "When a constraint such as a change in concentration, pressure or volume is imposed on a reaction system in equilibrium. The system will readjust itself in order to annul the constraint."

Now, if more reactants are added, the equilibrium position will shift towards the right, If more products are added, the equilibrium position will shift to the left.

Similarly, the removal of H2S causes the O2 concentration to increase since the equilibrium position now shifts to the left.

Also, addition of O2 causes H2S to be removed as the equilibrium moves to the right.

Why are clay minerals used in pottery making or the characteristics that made them use in it I will Will make u brainiest
swat32

Clay is used in pottery for its ability to be manipulated by the bare hands of humans, and it dries very quickly. Since you dont need a lot of equipment, it was a high paying job back in the old times. An advantage of clay that it can keep the water cool for a long time  as long as you cover the container.

Another advantage is that clay doesnt react with the liquids or food inside when heat is applied ( Unlike plastic)
