Three types of IV solutions are:

3.IV inserted medication such as addavan or morphine.

These solutions differ by reasons of usage:

1.saline solutions are typically used to rehydrate patients.

2.blood transfusions are typically used for severely injured patients or patient donating that blood.

3.IV inserted medication is usually used to calm down an overwhelmed or anxious patient and or ease any pain they are undergoing.
