The answer is -π

If you add π + (-π), you get 0 which is a rational number.

Adding 2 only results in changing the 3.14... to a 5.14... which is still an irrational number.

Adding 1/π only results in adding 1/3.14... to π which equals 3.45... which is still an irrational number.

Adding 0 doesn't change the original value at all so its still an irrational number.

Therefore, -π is the only logical answer.

Answer:

- pi

Step-by-step explanation:

Pi is an irrational number. We need to add an equal and opposite irrational number to get a rational number. pi +-pi = 0

That is rational

Adding anything else will still leave us with pi in our answer which is irrational

2+pi

1/pi + pi =

0+pi

All have pi in the answer

Lina20 [59]

Katelyn does not have enough money to buy items she likes.

Step-by-step explanation:

Amount Katelyn had = $205

Price of one sweater = $48

Price of 2 sweaters = 2*48 = $96

Price of one pair of pants = $34

Price of four pairs of pants = 34*4 = $136

Total price = Price of sweaters + price of pairs of pants

Total price = 96+136

Total\ price= \$232

Sales tax = 6.5%

Sales tax = \frac{6.5}{100}*232

Sales\ tax=\frac{1508}{100}\\Sales\ tax=15.08\ Dollars

Total amount = Total amount of items + sales tax

Total amount = 232 + 15.08

Total amount = 247.08 Dollars

Therefore,

Katelyn does not have enough money to buy items she likes.

Answer:

28

Step-by-step explanation:

KARLEE HAS 4 PENCIL PACKS.

1 PENCIL = 1/7 of pack.

∴ 1 pack has 1/7 multiplied by X.

X/7 = 1, so X is 7.

AND THEREFORE 4 PACKS CONTAIN 7*4 = 28

Julia is evaluating the expression 17(144). If she uses the distributive property to rewrite the expression with friendlier numb
Igoryamba

Answer:

In order to evaluate the given expression 17(144) using the distributive property, Julia would rewrite the expression in friendlier numbers that is:

(10+7)(100+40+4)

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given an expression 17(144) that we have to evaluate let us say without using the calculator.

Sometimes, it is easier to solve a complex problem in multiple steps as the problem gets distributed and the difficulty level lowers for multiple smaller sets.

Julia would rewrite the expression as:

(10+7)(100+40+4)

Then solve it using distribution method as follows:

10(100+40+4)+7(100+40+4)

1000+400+40+700+280+28

= 2448

Answer:

∀s ∈ D, C(s) - - - > E(s)

∀s ∈ D, C(s) - - - > ~ E(s)

∃s ∈ D such that M(s) ∧ C(s)

Step-by-step explanation:

D = set of all students

M(s) = s math major

C(s) = s Computer science major

E(s) = s Engineering major

Expressing the following using quantifies variables and predicates :

A.) Every computer science student is an engineering student

∀s ∈ D, C(s) - - - > E(s)

b. No computer science students are engineering students

∀s ∈ D, C(s) - - - > ~ E(s)

c. Some computer science students are also math majors

∃s ∈ D such that M(s) ∧ C(s)

∃s = Existential Domain

∀s = universal

∧ = connective and
