Answer:  He spent 170$ outside of the hotel.

Step-by-step explanation:  If one night at the hotel costs 110$ and he stayed there for 3 nights that means he spent a total of 330$ on the hotel for the trip.  Since he had 100$ left at the end of his trip that means he had to have spent 500$  Since he spent 330$ on his hotel and we need the total to equal 500$ subtract 330$ from 500$ to see how much he spent outside of the hotel.  500-330=170.  So therefore he spent 170$ dollars outside of the hotel

How many solutions can be found for the equation 4z + 2(z - 4) = 3z + 11
Gnom [1K]
4z+2(z-4)=3z+11  perform indicated multiplication on left side

4z+2z-8=3z+11  combine like terms on left side

6z/-8=3z+11  add 8 to both sides

6z=3z+19  subtract 3z from both sides

3z=19  divide both sides by 3

z=19/3

z=6 1/3

So there is only one solution when z=6 1/3

Habiendose organizado un bingo se ha recaudado $1900. Por la entrada de hombres $15 y mujeres $10 y se ha reportado una asistenc
aev [14]

Answer:

The number of men was 80

The number of women was 70

Step-by-step explanation:

The question in English is

Having organized a bingo has raised $1900. For the entrance of men $15 and women $10 and an attendance of 150 people has been reported. Determine the number of men and the number of women who participated in the bingo.

Let

x----> the number of men

y----> the number of women

we know that

x+y=150

x=150-y -----> equation A

15x+10y=1,900 -----> equation B

substitute equation A in equation B and solve for y

15(150-y)+10y=1,900

2,250-15y+10y=1,900

15y-10y=2,250-1,900

5y=350

y=70

Find the value of x

x=150-70=80

therefore

The number of men was 80

The number of women was 70

If susan, janice, and melvin take 2.0 hours to walk to their school at a rate of 1.0 m/s, how far is their school from their hou
RideAnS [48]

Answer:

7.2 km

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:

Hours taken = 2 hours

Walk rate = 1 m/s

Distance = Speed * time

Time taken in seconds = 2 * 60 * 60 = 7200 s

Hence,

Distance = 1 m/s * 7200s

Distance = 7200 meters

Distance in km = 7200 / 1000 = 7.2 km

Is 3/5 greater than 1/5
polet [3.4K]
Yes it is, since 1/5 + 1/5 + 1/5 = 3/5. If a pizza has 5 slices and you take three, that is more than just taking one.
