I agree with the answer above, A and B are definititly not true, and D was abit if-fy. C and E however were pretty clear choices to be right answers. So I would go with C and E.

The correct options are:

C. The number of people living in urban areas is expected to rise.

D. In 1950, more people lived in rural areas than in urban areas.

E. Between 2005 and 2010, the number of people in urban areas surpassed those in rural areas.

A and B are incorrect because the urban population has already surpassed the rural one in 2010 and the general tendency is for rural areas to decline. C, D, and E are correct because, while in 1950 the rural population was higher than the urban, between 2005 and 2010 the urban population surpassed the rural residents and the general tendency is for urban areas to keep rising.

The use of metaphor and analogy is an indication of which stage in piaget’s theory of cognitive development?.
arlik [135]

In Piaget's theory of cognitive development, the use of metaphor and analogy is a sign of its formal operationality.

Describe formal operational.

Piaget's theory has four stages, the formal operational stage being the final and the fourth. Though Piaget does note that some people may never reach this stage of cognitive development, it starts around the age of 11 to 12 and lasts until adulthood.

The capacity to develop hypotheses and conduct systematic tests on them in order to find a solution to a problem characterizes the formal operational stage. In addition to being able to think abstractly, someone in the formal stage can comprehend the shape or structure of a mathematical problem.

Which characteristic is the most important determinant of immunogenicity when considering an antigen?
Anastasy [175]

The antigen's foreignness is the most important determinant of immunogenicity when considering an antigen.

An antigen in immunology is a molecule, molecular structure, foreign particle, pollen grain, etc. that may attach to a particular antibody or T-cell receptor. Antigens within the body may cause an immunological response.

Antigens are outside elements. Normally, the body's defence cells don't react to molecules that belong to it (self antigen). A substance's antigenicity is often correlated with its foreignness . When compared to antigen from other members of the same species, it is less antigenic.

A foreign substance must make up the immunogen. Only substances that are not normally found in the body or exposed to the cells of the particular immune system trigger immune reactions. The immune system will distinguish between "self" and "non-self" in normal circumstances.
