A.) The probability of being older than 25 years and having a hemoglobin level above 11 is 19.58%. Since the question is referring to persons older than 25 years, we'll include all the data above 25 years.
So under 25-35 years old is 44 and under 35 years old is 40.
 44 + 40 = 84
 84 / 429 = 0.1958 or 19.58%

B.) The probability of having a hemoglobin level above 11 is 35.66%. We would just get the ratio of 153 people who have hemoglobin level above 11 over the population of 429.
 153 / 429 = 0.356643 or 35.66%

C.) Being older than 25 years and having a hemoglobin level above 11 is not dependent on each other. Since the data is inversely proportional. The older the person gets, the lesser the number of people having hemoglobin level above 11 (A) 19.58%.

Tell whether the sequence is geometric 31, 213, 4459, 637, 91,....
Lubov Fominskaja [6]

Answer:

No.

Step-by-step explanation:

If it is geometric the quotient of the terms and the previous term will be a constant.

213 / 31 = 6.871

4459 / 213= 20.93

These are not equal so the sequence is not geometric.

Jamin wants to paint a wall in his bedroom. In order to know how much paint to buy, he first needs to know the approximate area.
Alekssandra [29.7K]

Answer:

Area of window = 3 ft²

Area to be painted = 45 ft²

Explanation:

To get the area to be painted, we will start by getting the area of the whole wall (including the window), then subtract from it the area of the window

1- getting area of whole wall:

From the figure, we can note that the length and width of the wall are given as 6 ft and 8 ft

Area of whole wall = length * width

Area of whole wall = 6 * 8 = 48 ft²

2- getting area of window:

Again, from the figure, we can note that the length and width of the window are 2 ft and 18 in (which is equivalent to 1.5 ft)

Area of window = length * width

Area of window = 2 * 1.5 = 3 ft²

3- getting area to be painted:

Area to be painted = area of whole wall - area of window

Area to be painted = 48 - 3 = 45 ft²

Hope this helps :)

Answer: C) ASA = ASA

Refer to the diagram below. I've used color coding to match up the given statements with the drawing. Note how the red segments are between the blue and green angles. So we use ASA to prove the triangles are congruent.
