I see this problem as asking, "given the matrix E, find E^3".

We can do this directly by computing the matrix product E^3=EEE.

E=\begin{bmatrix}2a&0&-a\\0&1&2\\-3&a&0\end{bmatrix}

\implies E^2=\begin{bmatrix}2a&0&-a\\0&1&2\\-3&a&0\end{bmatrix}\begin{bmatrix}2a&0&-a\\0&1&2\\-3&a&0\end{bmatrix}=\begin{bmatrix}4a^2+3a&-a^2&-2a^2\\-6&2a+1&2\\-6a&a&5a\end{bmatrix}

\implies E^3=\begin{bmatrix}4a^2+3a&-a^2&-2a^2\\-6&2a+1&2\\-6a&a&5a\end{bmatrix}\begin{bmatrix}2a&0&-a\\0&1&2\\-3&a&0\end{bmatrix}=\begin{bmatrix}8a^3+12a^2&-2a^3-a^2&-4a^3-5a^2\\-12a-6&4a+1&10a+2\\-12a^2-15a&5a^2+a&6a^2+2a\end{bmatrix}

Calculate the value of b.<br>(b-15)<br>3b°<br>(2b + 45°<br>Diagram not drawn accurately
e-lub [12.9K]

Answer:

b = 30

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of the 2 angles above the line will equal the angle below the line

3b + b - 15 = 2b + 45

4b - 15 = 2b + 45 ( subtract 2b from both sides )

2b - 15 = 45 ( add 15 to both sides )

2b = 60 ( divide both sides by 2 )

b = 30

A kite is a quadrilateral with two pairs of adjacent, congruent sides. Prove the two angles between the non-congruent sides are
Alecsey [184]
Let the kite is the quadrilateral ABCD with the two pairs of adjacent congruent sides. (the diagram is also attached)

<span>Now, its given in question, see from figure,
AB is congruent to AD </span>
BC is congruent to DC

Now, let us join the points A & C to form AC ; and points B and D to form BD.
So, AC is common side  to triangles ABC and ADC.
So, Because AB ≈AD
BC ≈ DC
And, AC is common, therefore,
<span>triangle ABC is congruent to triangle ADC
</span>
⇒∠ ABC ≈ ∠ADC (These are the angles between the non-congruent sides)
