Answer:

D. C > B >A

Hope it helps!

Explanation:

From strongest to weakest, the intermolecular forces rank in the following way:

Strongest: Hydrogen bonding. This occurs when compounds contain #"O"-"H"# , #"N"-"H"# , or #"F"-"H"# bonds. ...

Less strong: Dipole-dipole forces. ...

Weakest: London Dispersion Forces.

Answer:

The higher the temperature the weaker the intermolecular forces => B > C > A

Explanation:

Increasing temperature increases the internal kinetic energy the particles causing them to collectively move faster and further apart. The ability to move to positions of greater separation is a result of decreasing intermolecula forces.

Suppose on average 2 penguins have 750000 feathers between them, 1 pillow requires 1283 feathers, 3 hippies need 16 pillows tota
Marrrta [24]

Answer :

The correct answer total bongo required = 4830

Given : 1) 2 penguins gives 750000 feathers

           2)  1 pillow needs 1283 feathers

         3)    3 hippies needs 16 pillows

         4)  8 hippies need 1 treehouse

         5)     1 tree house needs 322 planks

and   6)    1 bongo gives 5 planks

Asked : Bongos needed if   there are 11 penguins.

Following steps can be used to find number of bongos :

Step 1 : Calculate total feathers given by 11 penguins :

2 penguins gives 750000 feathers

1 penguin will give = \frac{750000 feathers}{2 penguins}

Hence , 11 penguins can give = \frac{750000 feathers}{2 penguins} *  11 penguins

Hence total feathers = 4125000 feathers .

Step 2 : To calculate total pillows formed :

1283 feathers  forms 1 pillow

1  feathers will form pillows  = \frac{1 pillow}{1283 feathers }

4125000 feathers will form pillow = \frac{1 pillow}{1283 feathers }  * 4125000 feathers

Total pillow formed = 3215 pillows

Step 3: To find total hippies :

16 pillows is are needed by 3 hippies

1 pillow will be needed by = \frac{3 hippies}{16 pillow}

3215 pillows needed by hippies = \frac{3 hippies}{16 pillows} * 3215 pillows

Total hippies = 603

Step 4 : To find total tree house needed :

8 hippies needs 1 treehouse

1 hippie will need treehouse = \frac{1 treehouse}{8 hippies}

603 hippies need treehouse =  \frac{1 treehouse }{8 hippies} * 603 hippies

Total treehouse needed =  75

Step 5 : To find total planks

1 treehouse needs 322 planks

75 treehouses will need  = 75 * 322 planks

Total planks needed = 24150

Step 6:  To calculate Bongos:

5 planks given by 1 bongo

1 plank given by bongo = \frac{1 bongo}{5 planks}

24150 planks given by bongos = \frac{1 bongo}{5 planks} * 24150 planks

Total bongos needed = 4830

Hence  if 11 penguins are present , bongos needed = 4830 .

- Calculate the Standard Enthalpy of the reaction below:
ANEK [815]

Answer:

Explanation:

We have the three equations:

NH_{3(g)} + HCl_{(g)} => NH_4Cl_{(s)}  .....     \Delta H = ? (1)\\2HCl_{(g)} => H_{2(g)} + Cl_{2(g)} .... \Delta H = +184.6 kJ (2)\\2H_{2(g)} + 1/2N_{2(g)} + 1/2Cl_{2(g)} => NH_4Cl_{(s)} ..... \Delta H = -314.2 kJ (3)\\ N_{2(g)} + 3H_{2(g)}  => 2NH_{3(g)} .... \Delta H  = +184.6kJ (4)

(can you double check that it is 184.6kJ for both equations 2 and 4 because it seems unlikely). We need to solve for equation 1 by addition and changing equations 2, 3 and 4. After possibly some trial and error, we can find that if we flip equations 4, multiply equation 3 by 2, add the equations together, and then finally divide by 2, we can get equation 1. We will get the answer of -314.2 kJ. However, I am again skeptical about the delta H values for equation 2 and 4 so double check that. This method might be super confusing and it is really hard to explain. So what I would suggest you to watch videos on Hess' law.
