this is how i solved it:
Sin30+cos300=1/2+1/2=1
Cos30+sin300=rad3/2-rad3/2=0
Sin(30+300)=sin330=-1/2
hope this helps:)
Given f(x)=3x-1 and g(x)=-x+6 find f(-2)+g(5)
f(-2)+g(5) = 3(-2) - 1 + (-5 + 6)
f(-2)+g(5) = -6 - 1 + 1
f(-2)+g(5) = -6
71 inches X 36 inches = 2556 sq inches
convert sq.feet to sq.inches.
12 sq. feet = 1 sq. inch
2556 sq. feet × 1 sq. inch ÷ 12 sq. feet = 213 sq. inches (sq. feet ÷ sq. feet cancels out the feet variable leaving sq. inch)

Answer:
I think this is what you want:
2(6)-2x=3
We then see that 2(6) and 2(x) have two in common as a "coefficient" you could say, so we distribute and put parentheses around it.
2(6-x)=3
6-x=3/2
-x=-9/2
x=9/2
