Answer : 2cm

Given that two tangent lines are constructed from the shared point A outside a circle to the points of tangency B and C.

A is the external point

B and C are the point of tangency. AB and AC are the two tangent lines that meet at external point A.

The length of tangent lines from an external point is same.

So length of AB = length of AC

AC measures 2 cm so AB = 2cm

The answer would be C! Like the person stated above ''tangents to the same circle from the same point measure the same''.

The value of y varies directly with x and y=12 when x=-6 find y when x=-4
FinnZ [79.3K]

Answer:

B)8

Step-by-step explanation:

That is the right answer because when y=12,  x=-6

12/-6 = -2

This means that x = y/-2

or y = x * -2

-4 * -2 = 8

Marrrta [24]

Answer:

I think the answer is m = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

2^(-4m) = 2^(6m)   set the exponent equal

- 4m = 6m   Move variable to the left

- 4m- 6m = 0   collect like terms

- 10m = 0   Divide both sides by - 10

m = 0

ArbitrLikvidat [17]

Answer:

c = 10

Step-by-step explanation:

This can be solved with Pythagreon Thereom.

{a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  =  {c}^{2}

Follow the steps below. A and B are the heaight an base, C is they hypotonuese.

{6}^{2}  +  {8}^{2}  =  {c}^{2}  \\ 36 + 64 =  {c}^{2}  \\ 100 =  {c}^{2}  \\ 10 = c
