A. Wavelength

The electromagnetic spectrum is determined by wavelength.  Visible light is a section of the electromagnetic spectrum, and within it, light is further classified into colors by wavelength.  Red waves are longer than violet waves.

Hope this helps!!

Two light waves, initially emitted in phase, will interfere constructively with maximum amplitude if the path-length difference
777dan777 [17]

Two light waves will interfere constructively if the path-length difference between them is a whole number.

<h3>SUPERPOSITION</h3>

The principle of superposition state that, when two or more waves meet at a point, the resultant displacement at that point is equal to the sum of the displacements of the individual waves at that point.

Interference of waves can either be constructive, or destructive.

The two light waves, initially emitted in phase, will interfere constructively with maximum amplitude if the path-length difference between them is a whole number of wavelenght 1λ, 2λ, 3λ, 4λ etc

The equivalent phase differences between the waves will be 2\pi or 360 degrees, 4\pi or 720 degrees, 6\pi 1080 degrees etc

Therefore, the two light waves, initially emitted in phase, will interfere constructively with maximum amplitude if the path-length difference between them is a whole number.

The Steamboat Geyser in Yellowstone National Park shoots water into the air at 48.0 m/s. How
qwelly [4]

Answer:

The maximum height reached by the water is 117.55 m.

Explanation:

Given;

initial velocity of the water, u = 48 m/s

at maximum height the final velocity will be zero, v = 0

the water is going upwards, i.e in the negative direction of gravity, g = -9.8 m/s².

The maximum height reached by the water is calculated as follows;

v² = u² + 2gh

where;

h is the maximum height reached by the water

0 = u² + 2gh

0 = (48)² + ( 2 x -9.8 x h)

0 = 2304 - 19.6h

19.6h = 2304

h = 2304 / 19.6

h = 117.55 m

Therefore, the maximum height reached by the water is 117.55 m.

Interactive LearningWare 10.1 reviews the concepts involved in this problem. A spring stretches by 0.0161 m when a 3.74-kg objec
yKpoI14uk [10]

Answer:

m = 3.91 kg

Explanation:

Given that,

Mass of the object, m = 3.74 kg

Stretching in the spring, x = 0.0161 m

The frequency of vibration, f = 3.84 Hz

When the object is suspended, the gravitational force is balanced by the spring force as :

mg=kx

k=\dfrac{mg}{x}

k=\dfrac{3.74\times 9.8}{0.0161}

k = 2276.52 N/m

The frequency of vibration is given by :

f=\dfrac{1}{2\pi}\sqrt{\dfrac{k}{m}}

m=\dfrac{k}{4\pi^2f^2}

m=\dfrac{2276.52}{4\pi^2\times (3.84)^2}

m = 3.91 kg

So, the mass of the object is 3.91 kg. Hence, this is the required solution.

Interest groups representing businesses and investors are often among the most successful lobbying groups in foreign policy. Why
alisha [4.7K]

The members of these groups make up the majority of voters in many districts thus this  be considered a problem.

<u>Option: D</u>

<u>Explanation:</u>

Interest groups play a key role in US politics. Such organizations are made up of wealthy and powerful members who often seek to impose some form of leverage in politicians to promote their goals and agendas. Across the years via many campaigns, they have understood how to speak and manipulate elected leaders and apply leverage to get the kind of legislation that is in their favor. Here the majority of voters in several districts are standing due to group members, as we recognize the interest group belongs to a body in which it uses different methods of lobbying to influence others.
