so the first clock is at 6:43 and the second clock is at 7:11

6:43 plus 17 is 7:00, then plus 11 minutes is 7:11

17+11= 28 minutes

have a nice day :)

Hello!

To answer your question we need to understand how to read an analog clock.

The smaller hand on the clock is represenative of the hour, which in this case we do not need to look at as the question states that the time passed is less than one hour.

The longer hand is how we see minutes.

If you look at how a clock is organized it goes up by fives (look at the smaller indents between the bolded numbers) meaning that the easiest way to see how much time is passed is to

  1. Count how many minutes it takes to get to one of the visible numbers
  2. In this case it takes two minutes to get us to 6:45
  3. We can then count by fives until we reach the number two on the other side of the clock!
  4. There is a total of twenty five minutes to get us from 6:45 to 7:10
  5. Our second to last step is to find how many minutes has passed to get to where the longer hand is pointing.
  6. For this step we see it only takes us one minute!
  7. The last step is to add up how many minutes have passed in total : 2 + 25 + 1

Once we have these added, we find the 28 minutes is how much time has passed from the first clock to the second clock.

Hope this answers your question! If you need clarifications please ask!

Answer:

The area is approximately 30.69 cm^2.

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve this problem, we first have to recognize that the side of the block is a rectangle with a semicircle missing.  This means that to find the area, we must find the area of the rectangle and then subtract the area of the semicircle.  Using the respective formulas, we get the following expression for area:

A = (length * width) - (1/2*pi*r^2)

Now, we must plug in the given values shown in the figure.  The length is 9 cm, the width is 4.5 cm, and the diameter is 5 cm.  However, the formula asks for the radius, which is simply half of the diameter, or 2.5 cm.

A = (9 cm * 4.5 cm) - (1/2 * 3.14 * (2.5 cm)^2)

Next, we should perform the operations indicated inside the parentheses.

A = 40.5 cm^2 - 9.81 cm^2

Finally, we can subtract the two values (this represents taking away the area of the semicircle from the rectangle).

A = 30.69 cm^2

Therefore, the area of the side is approximately 30.69 cm^2.

Hope this helps!

The interior angles formed by the sides of a quadrilateral have measures that sum to 360°.
Svetach [21]

Let

angle 1=2x°

angle 2=2x°

angle 3=124°

angle 4=124°

we know that

The interior angles formed by the sides of a quadrilateral have measures that sum to 360°

so

angle 1+angle 2+angle 3+angle 4=360°

2x+2x+124+124=360\\ 4x+248=360\\ 4x=112\\ x=28degrees

therefore

the answer is

x=28degrees

A hollow cylinder, open at one end, is constructed of thin sheet metal. The total external surface area of the cylinder is 192pi
MrRa [10]
S A = r² π + 2 r π h
192 π = r² π + 2 r π h   / : π
192 = r² + 2 r h
2 r h = 192 - r²
h = (192 - r² ) / 2 r
V = r² π h = r² π ( (192 - r² ) / 2 r ) =
= π / 2 ( 192 r - r³ )

Simplify this expression (a^8a^6)^1/7/a^2
ArbitrLikvidat [17]

Answer: 1

Step-by-step explanation: Whenever you take the power of a power, the find the answer you can multiply the two exponents, for example:

(x^3)^4 = x^12

We will use that here.

a^8a^6 = a^14

((a^14)^1/7) = (a^2)/a^2

Our answer is 1
