Culture includes:
Language
Art
(Religion... some consider this a separate entity)
Education
Traditions
Beliefs - Which can tie into religion
... you get the point

How this affects people's views about death and dying:
Different cultures have different views on death and dying. In some cultures it is socially acceptable to embrace death. This is where religion really plays a big role. In some religions you reincarnate, so death may not be a huge deal. In some cultures, especially in america, people look at death as a positive thing because then they will inherit their loved ones items. Not all americans are like this, but it is definitely something some do look forward to. Some cultures don't care about death, because it doesn't play a big role in their traditions or social life.

hope this helps, didn't provide specific examples, but I do have some if you need them.
