Answer:

Well your using absolute value and everything in absolute value is positive so you get rid of the negative.

Step-by-step explanation:

So you distribute the negative into the absolute value equation . And it leaves you with

|-1+5a|=29 now you can solve

your subtract your -1 from both sides bc you are solving for a

that gives you

5a=30 then you divide 5 divided by 30 is what 6 so that’s your answer

a=6

A line intersects the points(-22,-14) and (-18,-12). What is the slope-intercept equation for this line?
zaharov [31]

Hello there,

Well we are going to start off with the equation to find the slope based on the given points:

                                                    \frac{y_{2} - y_{1}  }{x_{2} -x_{1} }

Now using the two given points we are going to plug in and solve:

                                         \frac{(-12)-(-14)}{(-18)-(-22)} = \frac{2}{4} = \frac{1}{2}

From this you know that \frac{1}{2} is the slope of the equation. However, to find the y-intercept we are going to use y = mx+ b and plug in one of the points to solve:

                                        (-14) = \frac{1}{2} (-22) + b

                                        (-14) = (-11) + b

                                         -3 = b

That means that the y-intercept is at (0, -3). Lastly, we are just going to plug all this into the slope-intercept form:

                                       y = \frac{1}{2} - 3

Hope I helped,

Amna

Answer:

  a^4·m^4·n^8

Step-by-step explanation:

The applicable rule of exponents is ...

  (a^b)(a^c) = a^(b+c)

__

m^2n^3 aanm^2a^2n^4

= a^(1+1+2)·m^(2+2)·n^(3+1+4)

= a^4·m^4·n^8

I don't know about the first one but the second one is 34.9°. It would be that because are right angles add up to 90° and if you subract 55.1 and 90 it would equal 34.9. But this rule only works on right angles.
