Weather observations become climate data: the temperatures that happen during one season are recorded daily.

Explanation:

Millions of weather observations are recorded each day throughout the world. To document the weather and climate several human observers and automated weather stations are used.

The Cooperative Observer Program (COOP) does accurate observations across the country with scientific instruments to measure temperature, evaporation, rainfall, and snow depth.

Each day the COOP observers follow a uniform procedure to validate their instruments and record their data.

The decision makers for cities and towns depend on accurate graphs and maps to help them in planning for different extreme weather events.

Consider a case in which two variables change together; change in the value of one is accompanied by change in the value of the
mixer [17]

Answer:

spurious

Explanation:

When it is observed that the change in one variable corresponds to the change in another variable but the change in the first variable is not the cause of the change in the other variable.

The change in the other variable is caused due to another variable. The third variable changes due to the change in the first variable and the second variable changes due to the change in the third variable.

This type of correlation is said to spurious.

Does gerrymandering lead to increased polarization?
MArishka [77]

Answer:

Yes.

Explanation:

Gerrymandering is the term used for the act of negotiating the layout of each district (the territory it will encompass) for the benefit of a specific politician or party. The word comes from the name of the American politician Elbridge Gerry, who in the 1800s redesigned the Massachusetts constituencies to benefit his allies. One of the districts was so absurdly shaped that it was shaped like a salamander and so the second part of the word was forged: gerryMANDERing. Gerrymandering occurs when the government interferes with district design to benefit vulnerable groups (as if it were an affirmative policy).

This political practice can cause polarization because groups not favored by gerrymandering will act contrary and raise issues that contradict the need to appeal to this practice. These questions will create a controversial scenario that will result in polarization.

It is correct to say that gerrymandering causes polarization, but it would be incorrect to say that this would be the only way to water polarization in the country.

How did white Europeans and Americans use Charles Darwin's theory on evolution to justify Europe's imperialism? a. European scie
nordsb [41]

Answer:

White Europeans and Americans used Charles Darwin's theory on evolution to justify Europe's imperialism in the following manner:

b. They cited evolution to explain that the peoples they conquered were an inferior race and needed their leadership.

Explanation:

Imperialists used Social Darwinism as an excuse to justify their interference or dominance in other countries. According to the ideas expressed, white Europeans and Americans were more evolved than other peoples and, for that reason, it was not only their right but also their duty to conquer them. They claimed to be doing those countries a favor. A very good example of this idea is Rudyard Kipling's poem "The White Man's Burden," in which he portrays the dominated people as inferior, childish, and heretic.
