The light bulb provides an easy, safe, cost effective way to convert electrical energy into light. With the simple click of a switch, light is provided. There is no need for any chemical reaction such as burning which can be dangerous. In addition, light bulbs tend to have a reasonable life span and can be easily changed when needed. In today's society, with the increasing number of building which contain areas that are not exposed to natural light, the light bulb is important even during the day.

Anuta_ua [19.1K]
Given: Heat Qout means useful work = 2800 J

           Heat Qin = 8900 J

Required; Efficiency = ?

Formula: Efficiency = Qout/Qin = x 100%

                               = 2800 J/8900 J = 0.3146 X 100 %

In most materials, as heat energy is absorbed, density
PtichkaEL [24]

Answer:

In most materials, as heat energy is absorbed, the density decreases. IF a certain object is heated, it might appear bigger than usual because it expands as the molecules inside moves faster than usual. However the mass of it stays the same while the density decreases.
