Answer:

119 total stickers

Step-by-step explanation:

he bought 3 strips of 10 so thats 3x10

he also bought 8 strips of 10 which is 8x10

then he bought 3 single stickers which is just 3

and 6 single stickers which is just 6

so the equation would look like this

(3x10)+(8x10)+3+6

First you solve the parenthesis so 3x10 plus 8x10

3x10=30  8x10=80

now your equation is 30+80+6+3

then you solve 30+80 and 6+3

30+80= 110   6+3=9

so then your equation is a simple 110+9

110+9=119

so he bought 119 total stickers

Hope this helped!!

An experimenter flips a coin 100 times and gets 59 heads. Find the 98% confidence interval for the probability of flipping a hea
lara [203]

Answer:

The 98% confidence interval for the probability of flipping a head with this coin is (0.4756, 0.7044).

Step-by-step explanation:

In a sample with a number n of people surveyed with a probability of a success of \pi, and a confidence level of 1-\alpha, we have the following confidence interval of proportions.

\pi \pm z\sqrt{\frac{\pi(1-\pi)}{n}}

In which

z is the z-score that has a p-value of 1 - \frac{\alpha}{2}.

An experimenter flips a coin 100 times and gets 59 heads.

This means that n = 100, \pi = \frac{59}{100} = 0.59

98% confidence level

So \alpha = 0.02, z is the value of Z that has a p-value of 1 - \frac{0.02}{2} = 0.99, so Z = 2.327.

The lower limit of this interval is:

\pi - z\sqrt{\frac{\pi(1-\pi)}{n}} = 0.59 - 2.327\sqrt{\frac{0.59*0.41}{100}} = 0.4756

The upper limit of this interval is:

\pi + z\sqrt{\frac{\pi(1-\pi)}{n}} = 0.59 + 2.327\sqrt{\frac{0.59*0.41}{100}} = 0.7044

The 98% confidence interval for the probability of flipping a head with this coin is (0.4756, 0.7044).

Q19. Look at the image.
Neko [114]

Answer:

It's C

Step-by-step explanation:

Because if you look at the other numbers they all add up to the next number by 4. 4+4=<em>8  </em>8+4=<em>12  </em>12+4=<em>16</em>  16+4=<em>20</em>  20+4=<em>24 </em>

<em>Therefore, x intercept </em>is 24 and <em>y</em> intercept is 18. Hope this is correct if it's not  correct then I'm very sorry. Have a nice day. ;)

On a coordinate plane, line A has a negative slope, line b is horizontal, line c is vertical, and line d has a positive slope.
Digiron [165]

Answer:

<u>Line b</u>

Step-by-step explanation:

It cannot be line a or line d because the line will have a constant rate of change. It cannot be line c because line c would be undifined. Therefore, it must be line b.

Bumek [7]

Answer: $128

Step-by-step explanation: So first Bob earned 8 dollars. Then he started earning 10 dollars a day every week for 2 weeks. that would have been 148 dollars (plus the 8 dollars he earned in the beginning), but he took a break once a week, subtracting 20 dollars from his pay, giving him 128 dollars in total.
