Answer:

see below

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = 5x^2 + 2x − 3

        (5x-3) ( x+1)

To find the x intercepts, set this equal to zero

0=  (5x-3) ( x+1)

Using the zero product property

5x-3 =0     x+1 =0

5x=3             x =-1

x = 3/5             x = -1     are the zeros

End behavior

x = -infinity

5 ( -infinity )^2

5 (infinity) = infinity

as x goes to negative infinity, f(x) goes to infinity

x = infinity

5 ( infinity )^2

5 (infinity) = infinity

as x goes to  infinity, f(x) goes to infinity

To plot the function, we need to plot the zeros ( or x intercepts) and the end behavior as well as the vertex to plot the graph

Calculate the area and perimeter plz help
kramer

Answer:

Figure 1:

Area: 30m^2

Perimeter: 23.6m

Figure 2:

Area: 98.8km^2

Perimeter:56.5km

Step-by-step explanation:

Area is base x height.

To get the perimeter, add up all the sides.

Figure 1:

Area:

6x5=30m^2

Perimeter: 6+5.8+6+5.8=23.6m

Figure 2:

Area:

7.6x13 = 98.8km^2

Perimeter:7.6+15+20+13.9=56.5km

evaluate the impact of risky behaviour on your personal expectations in relation to your career help with maths too
timofeeve [1]

Step-by-step explanation:

In triangle ADE:

sum of all angles is 180.

3x-10+58+42=180

3x+90=180

3x=180-90

3x=90

x=90/3

x=30

As line DA and CB are parallel:

angle D=angle C

angle y=58

In angle BCE, sum of angles is 180.

z+58+42=180

z+100=180

z=180-100

z=80

The radius of a cylindrical water tank is 4.5 ft, and its height is 8 ft. What is the volume of the tank?
Brums [2.3K]
The answer is 509 ft^3

Formula:
V = πr^2h
V = 3.14 * 4.5^2 * 8
V = 3.14 * 20.25 * 8
V = 508.68 ft^3

508.68 rounded to the nearest whole number is 509

So the volume of the cylinder is 509 ft^3

the blueprint for landscaping a yard has a scale of 1/2" to1 foot. if the blueprint is a rectangle 18 inches by 22 inches,what a
bazaltina [42]
If one foot in real is 1/2 inches, then 1 inch in a blueprint is 2 feet. So a rectangle 18 by 22 inches will represent 18 * 2 by 22 * 2 feet in real. So the size of the yard is 36 by 44 feet.
