The answer is Both result in a change in allele frequencies in the affected population

Genetic drift is a change in the frequency of alleles in a population as a result of random sampling of organisms. Imagine you have two different alleles in the population responsible for red and white color of a flower. Their allele frequencies are 0.2 for white flowers and 0.8 for red flowers. After some change in the environment, only white flowers survive. They will reproduce, and in the population, there will be only white flowers. The population for these flowers will increase from 0.2 to 1.
Speaking of gene flow, it is not as dramatic and drastic as genetic drift, but still, it includes a transfer of alleles from one population to another, so there is expected a change in allele frequency.

Sometimes, pregnant women are very emotional. This is believed to be caused by extra estrogen and progesterone that are released
Strike441 [17]

Activational effect is the correct answer.

Activational effect is an impermanent hormonal effect that leads to a change in physiological activity or behavior in both humans and adult animals. For instance, when testosterone levels rise in male songbirds they become more aggressive and tend to engage in courtship behavior. Also, a pregnant woman may get more emotional than usual due to an extra level of progesterone and estrogen during pregnancy.

Blood flows through an artery that is partially blocked. as the blood moves from the wider region into the narrow region, alternately increases and then decreases.

What is the purpose of blood flow in heart?

The removal of positive charge by electrochemical gradients causes the membrane potential of the cell to shift more strongly in the direction of the equilibrium potential for potassium.

The membrane would become more negative as potassium permeability through the membrane increased. Given that potassium is a positively-charged ion and that the intracellular environment has a net negative charge, enhancing the membrane's permeability would result in a more negative membrane.

For instance, the amplitude of the potassium concentration gradient across the myocyte decreases as the external potassium level rises, lowering the resting membrane potential.
