Answer:

It would be Associative because she is Multiplying in different groups, so for example you said that she didn't know what 24 x 4 was so then she took 3 x 4 so she just regrouped the numbers to get the answer needed.

A fair spinner has 9 equal sections: 4 red, 3 blue and 2 green.
Gennadij [26K]

Answer:

14/81

Step-by-step explanation:

The probability of getting a green is number of green sections ÷ total number of sections = 2/4+3+2 = 2/9

Probability of not getting a green is = 1 - probability of getting a green = 1 - 2/9 = 7/9

Now we calculate the probability of not getting 2 consecutive greens. I.e probability of getting a green the first time and not getting it the second time= (2/9 × 7/9) = 14/81

Two classes have a total of 50 students. One class has 6 more students than the other. How may students are in the larger class
givi [52]
Subtract 6 from 50:
50-6 = 44
Divide 44 by 2:
44/2 = 22

add 6:

22+6 = 28

There is 22 in the smaller class and 28 in the larger class.
