Answer:

$6,000

Explanation:

Data given in the question

Sale value of the furniture = $120,000

Interest rate = 10%

So by considering the above information, the interest recorded is

= Sale value of the furniture × interest rate × number of months ÷ total number of months in a year

= $120,000 × 10% × 6 months ÷ 12 months

= $6,000

The six months is calculated from June 30 to December 31 and we considered the same for the above calculation

Give a brief account on Marketing.

Marketing is the process of discovering, developing, and delivering value to meet the needs of a target market in terms of products and services. Choosing a target market, selecting specific traits or themes to highlight in advertising, executing marketing campaigns, attending trade shows and open events, creating products and packaging that appeal to consumers, and defining the terms of sale, such as the purchase price, discounts, warranties, and return policies are other possible steps. Usually, the seller, who is usually a manufacturer or merchant, handles the marketing.

The occasional hiring of a specialized marketing firm or advertising agency may be necessary. Less frequently, a trade association or government agency (like the Agricultural Marketing Service) will market an entire sector or location, frequently a single food item (like Got Milk? ), food from a specific area.

b. Inside salespersons generally focus on taking orders and following up, whereas outside salespersons are more consultative. Hence, option (d) is the relevant option.

Brick Co. has 170,000 shares of common stock outstanding at January 1, 2015. On May 1, 2015, it issued 30,000 additional shares
fenix001 [56]

Answer:

The number of shares that Brick should use to calculate 2015 diluted earnings per share are 202,000 shares

Explanation:

The computation of the number of shares are shown below:

= January 1 shares + may 1 shares + convertible cumulative preferred stock

= 170,000 shares × 4 months ÷ 12 months + 200,000 shares × 8 months ÷ 12 months + 12,000 shares

= $56666.67 + $133,333.33 + $12,000

The 4 months are calculated from January 1 to May 1, 2015

And, the 8 months are calculated from May 1 to December 31

I am trying to understand the Opportunity cost. Can anyone help me please? I can't seem to get Economics, I really need help. Yo
sesenic [268]
Basically "Opportunity cost" is what you're going to lose (or have a potential to lose) if you chose a different action than what you're presented with. In the example, you're working for $15 an hour, but if you decide instead to skip a pratrice to go to the fair you're losing out of the $15 an hour you'll be paid and have to pay $9 to go to the fair. All total, you're opportunity costs for that will be $24 (fifteen you would have made plus the nine dollar fee.) This is also assuming, of course, they don't fire/dock you for just skipping work.
