What were the causes, course and consequences of the united states involvement in ww1
finlep [7]
The united states entered the war because Germany was using submarines to sink our trading ships, they also sunk a passenger ship called the Lustitania, which killed many civilians. Another reason they entered war was because Germany sent the Zimmerman telegram that they sent to Mexico to try to have them enter the war against us. The telegram said that if they helped Germany, Germany would help them get land back that they lost during the Mexican–American War.

Was the United States justified in the dropping of the atomic bombs on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki?
satela [25.4K]

Answer:

I believe that the United States was and wasn't justified to drop the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki

Explanation:

It was justified because Japan realized a surprise attack at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, after two hours of bombing, 18 U.S. ships were sunk or damaged, 188 U.S. aircraft were destroyed, and 2,403 people were killed, all of this happened while the U.S. and Japan were officially engaging in diplomatic negotiations for possible peace in Asia.

It wasn't justified because the two bombings killed between 129,000 and 226,000 people.

By the end of 1936, the supreme court had proven itself ___________ of roosevelt's new deal.
Anika [276]

____________________________________________________

Answer:

Your answer would be "an enemy."

____________________________________________________

By the end of 1936, the supreme court had proven itself an enemy of Roosevelt's new deal.

____________________________________________________

Roosevelt's new deal:

Roosevelt's new deal was an Economic program consisting of programs, regulations, financial reforms, and public workshops made by President Roosevelt to give relief to the citizens because of the Great Depression.

____________________________________________________

Explanation:

The reason why "an enemy" would be your answer is because the Supreme Court was against what President Roosevelt was doing. They believed that what President Roosevelt was doing was giving the powers that the federal government had and giving them to the state governments. They didn't like this because the wanted to federal government to have more power than the state governments, but President Roosevelt was trying to do otherwise. The federal government said that this was unconstitutional, and that president Roosevelt was being unconstitutional. They criticized President Roosevelt a lot for "not helping the poor" enough. They said that the New Deal was just another way of saying "Share our wealth." They didn't want to share their wealth with others, they wanted to keep the wealth to themselves. Roosevelt wanted to avoid confrontation with the Supreme Court, but he couldn't do that. He just had to stick to his plan on making the country back together again after a huge tragedy that changed the whole nation. This showed that the Supreme Court was against the new deal, and was the enemy.
