This would be always true because the positive number would cancel the negative number out.

Answer:

sometimes true ( hopefully I am right)

Step-by-step explanation:

Adding two positive integers always gives you a positive sum; adding two negative integers always gives you a negative sum so find the sum of a positive and a negative integer, take the absolute value of each integer and then subtract those values.

In the table, you can see level 1 is 5 to the first power, level 2 is 5 to the second and go on.
so in level 6 would be 5 to the sixth power
so the answer to first one is 5^6
for the second question you should know that level 2 is 5^2 and level 6 is 5^6 so 5^6/5^2 = 5^4 is the answer :))))
I hope this is helpful

The Eco Pulse survey from the marketing communications firm Shelton Group asked individuals to indicate things they do that make
BabaBlast [244]

Answer:

a) 0.54 = 54% probability that a randomly selected person will feel guilty for either wasting food or leaving lights on when not in a room or both.

b) 0.46 = 46% probability that a randomly selected person will not feel guilty for either of these reasons

Step-by-step explanation:

We use Venn's Equations for probabilities.

I am going to say that:

P(A) is the probability that a randomly selected person will feel guilty about wasting food.

P(B) is the probability that a randomly selected person will feel guilty about leaving lights on when not in a room.

0.12 probability that a randomly selected person will feel guilty for both of these reasons.

This means that P(A \cap B) = 0.12

0.27 probability that a randomly selected person will feel guilty about leaving lights on when not in a room.

This means that P(B) = 0.27

0.39 probability that a randomly selected person will feel guilty about wasting food

This means that P(A) = 0.39

a. What is the probability that a randomly selected person will feel guilty for either wasting food or leaving lights on when not in a room or both (to 2 decimals)?

P(A \cup B) = P(A) + P(B) - P(A \cap B) = 0.39 + 0.27 - 0.12 = 0.54

0.54 = 54% probability that a randomly selected person will feel guilty for either wasting food or leaving lights on when not in a room or both.

b. What is the probability that a randomly selected person will not feel guilty for either of these reasons (to 2 decimals)?

p = 1 - P(A \cup B) = 1 - 0.54 = 0.46

0.46 = 46% probability that a randomly selected person will not feel guilty for either of these reasons

a tank is 4÷5 full of water. after drawing off 190 litees of water,it is just 1÷6 full. what is the capacity of the tank
soldier1979 [14.2K]

Hey there! I'm happy to help!

Let's have the capacity be c. The tank is currently at 4/5c. We subtract 190 and then we are at 1/6c. Let's set this up as an equation and solve it.

4/5c-190=1/6c

We want to get the c all by itself to see the capacity of the tank. Let's get all of the c values on the left side of the equation and the numbers on the right by using inverse operations.

4/5c-190=1/6c

Add 190 to both sides.

4/5c=1/6+190

Subtract 1/6 from both sides.

19/30c=190

Divide both sides by 19/30.

c=300

So, the capacity of the tank is 300 liters of water.

Have a wonderful day and keep on learning! :D
