Answer:- 46.4 g of NaCl is dissolved.

Solution:- Mole fraction of NaCl = 0.21

Since we have an aqueous solution of NaCl, it means NaCl is dissolved in water.

sum of mole fractions is always 1.

So, mole fraction of water = 1 - mole fraction of NaCl

mole fraction of water = 1 - 0.21 = 0.79

If we have total 1 mol of the solution then there are 0.21 moles of NaCl and 0.79 moles of water.

mass of NaCl = 0.21 x 58.44 = 12.3 g

mass of water = 0.79 x 18.0 = 14.2 g

If we assume the density for the solution is 1g/mL then 100.0 mL solution is 100 g solution.

From mass of NaCl and water, the mass of solution = 12.3 + 14.2 = 26.5g

From here, 26.5 g of solution has 12.3 g of NaCl. 100 g of solution has how many grams of NaCl?

We could use the proportions here..

12.3/26.5 = X/100

12.3(100) = 26.5(X)

X = 1230/26.5

X = 46.4

So, 46.4 g of NaCl is dissolved in 100.0 mL of solution.

How many grams of gasoline would you need to burn to move your car 2.5 miles which takes 5,375 kJ? (Hrxn= 47kJ/g)
docker41 [41]

Answer:

1.1 × 10² g

Explanation:

The combustion of gasoline releases energy that is used to move the car. The enthalpy of reaction (ΔH°rxn) of the combustion of gasoline is 47 kJ/g, that is, 47 kiloJoule are produced per gram of gasoline burned. The mass of gasoline to be burned to release 5,375 kJ is:

5,375 kJ × 1 g Gasoline/47 kJ = 1.1 × 10² g

I have a question for us gals, is it hard for all of you when you try to get your crushes attention and he/she just keeps ignori
Volgvan

Answer:

Yes it is hard. For some of us. I already gave up, but now hes coming back. Id say sometimes its useless to get his attention if he never even pays attention to you anyways. It sucks because its so hard to get then to notice you for once.

HELPPP!!! What is the volume of a 1.31 moles sample of gas if the pressure is 904 mmHg and the temperature is 37. degrees Celsiu
Tju [1.3M]

Answer:

27.99 dm³

Explanation:

Applying

PV = nRT................ Equation 1

Where P = Pressure, V = Volume, n = number of mole, R = molar gas constant, T = Temperature.

From the question, we were aksed to find V.

Therefore we make V the subject of the equation

V = nRT/P................ Equation 2

Given: n = 1.31 moles, T = 37°C = 310K, P = 904 mmHg = (904×0.001316) = 1.1897 atm

Constant: R = 0.082 atm.dm³/K.mol

Substitute these values into equation 2

V = (1.31×310×0.082)/(1.1897)

V = 27.99 dm³
