a 100ml vial of 25% solution is available in stock. an order is received for 6g to be added to 250ml of solution for an iv infus
patriot [66]

Answer: 26.76%

Explanation:

A 100ml vial of 25% solution means that 25% of the total mass of the solution is the mass of the medication (solute).

Assuming a 100ml vial contains 100g of solution, then,

Mass of solute = 0.25 x 100g = 25g

For a 250ml solution, solute will be;

(250x25)/100 = 62.5g

Adding an additional 6g of medication makes it

62.5 + 6 = 68.5g

For a 250ml solution, the original mass is (250x100)/100 = 250g

With addition of 6g medication it becomes 256g

Solution after adding medication becomes 68.5/256 x 100%

= 26.76%

Compare fad diet with good nutrion
BlackZzzverrR [31]
A fad diet is an unhealthy and an unbalanced food intake in order to lose weight quickly without the tedious process of exercising.  Apparently, a person on a fad diet is not shedding out fat, instead, he or she is losing water weight which is dangerous.  In comparison, good nutrition is the opposite of fad diet.  With good nutrition, a person is not aiming to lose weight, rather, he or she wants to maintain the right weight which is within the normal BMI level.  Furthermore, with good nutrition, he or she promotes good health by not harboring lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes mellitus, stroke, and heart diseases.
