If you enjoy wasting time, is that time really wasted?

Physics

No because there’s no objective use of time. It all boils down to ones personal experiences. Regardless of what someone else might think of productive or wasteful, if you enjoyed that time then it wasn’t wasted. If anyone believes there’s an objective use of time, they have an ego issue. One can disagree with someone’s use of time, but there’s no such thing as “wasted time” unless you perceive it as wasted time

Yes. I think it is. If you are wasting your time staring at a wall, but you are enjoying it and still have work to do, you are wasting your time. Sometimes the point of wasting time is to, well waste time, but that doesn’t change the fact that you are wasting your time.

A boat carving people more than its capacity is at risk of sinking, why?
Y_Kistochka [10]

Answer:

Explained below.

Explanation:

For a boat or any object to float on water, it's density must be less than that of water.

Now, when the maximum capacity of people to be carried by the boat is exceeded, it's possible that the maximum mass of people will also be exceeded depending on the mass of the people in the boat.

Now, we know that; density = mass/volume.

Thus, the higher the mass of the people, the higher the density and the higher the density, the more likely it is to be above that of water and the more likely it is to sink.

What is the average flow rate in cm3/s of gasoline to the engine of a car traveling at 100 km/h if it averages 10. 0 km/l?
DiKsa [7]

The answer is 2.78 \mathrm{~cm}^{3} / \mathrm{s}

Q=\frac{1 \mathrm{~L}}{10.0 \mathrm{~km}} \times \frac{100 \mathrm{~km}}{\mathrm{~h}} \times \frac{1 \mathrm{~h}}{36005} \times \frac{1000 \mathrm{~cm}^{3}}{\mathrm{~L}}=2.78 \mathrm{~cm}^{3} / \mathrm{s}

Thus, the average flow rate is $2.78 \mathrm{~cm}^{3} / \mathrm{s}$.

What is average flow rate?

  • Average flow, which is often represented in cubic feet per second, refers to the stream's average discharge at a certain location.
  • The flowrate is the rate at which liquid travels through a pipe or into a wellbore from a reservoir.
  • The volume of fluid that moves across a specific cross-sectional area per unit of time is known as the flow rate.
  • It is essential to measure flow rates accurately using the right flowmeters to guarantee that fluid management procedures are efficient, safe, and cost-effective.
