Answer:

38cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeter of the quadrilateral

ABCD=AB+BC+DC+AD.

From the question,

AB =9cm, BC=12cm and DC=4cm.

This implies that we need to find the length AD before we can proceed to find the perimeter.

From the diagram, we can find |AD| using Pythagorean Theorem.

{|AD|}^{2} =  {12}^{2}  +{5}^{2}

{|AD|}^{2} =144+ 25

{|AD|}^{2} =169

Taking positive square root of both sides

|AD|= \sqrt{169}

|AD|=13 \: cm

Hence the perimeter

=9+12+4+13

=38cm

Find the center-radius form of the equation of the circle described. Then graph the circle. Center (0,0), radius 8
Pani-rosa [81]
If the center is (0, 0), then there is no side to side or up or down motion. The center is at the origin. The standard form of a circle is (x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2. Your h and your k are both 0's, so just fill in and square the radius:
x^2 + y^2 = 64

We are to verify the identity:

cos(α-B)-cos(α+B) = 2 sinα sinβ

Left hand side = cos(α - B)-cos(α + B)

= cosα cosβ + sinα sinB - (cosα cosB - sinα sinβ)

= cosα cosβ + sinα sinB - cosα cosB + sinα sinβ)

= sinα sinβ + sinα sinβ

= 2 sinα sinβ

= Right Hand side
