Answer:

If two lines are parallel, they are pretty much completely the same. I mean, the length can be different. You could have a millimeter long line below a infinite line, as long as they are going the exact same direction making them parallel. Also, I guess the thickness could be different haha.

Step-by-step explanation:

Hope it helps

Pls help show work step by step
zhenek [66]
The answer would be d=8t
This would be because the time they want is 1 hour. So when you plug in t as 1 you need d to equal 8. So you just have to change that 6 in the first equation to an 8. This new equation means that the person can travel 8 miles every hour.

a man climbs on to a wall that is 4.5m high and gains 2450j 0f potential energy.what is the mass of the man?
Setler79 [48]

Answer:

55.5 kg.

Step-by-step explanation:

Potential energy =  mgh

= m * 9.81 * 4.5 = 2450    where m  is the mass of the man.

m = 2450 / (9.81* 4.5)

= 55.5 kg.

The equation of a linear function in point-slope form is y – y1 = m(x – x1). Harold correctly wrote the equation y = 3(x – 7) us
xz_007 [3.2K]

For this case we must find the point that Harold used to arrive at the following equation:

y = 3 (x-7)

Starting from the fact that the equation of the point-slope form of a line is given by:

(y-y_ {1}) = m (x-x_ {1})

If we compare the standard equation with Harold's, we see that the slope of the line is m = 3.

In addition, it is observed that x_ {1} = 7and y_ {1} = 0.

Then, the correct option is: Harold used the point (7,0)

ANswer:

When Harold wrote his equation, the point was used (7,0).
