The statement is true.

Explanation:

Barack Hussein Obama II is an American politician who was the 44th President of the United States. He is the first African American president in US history.

On February 10, 2007, in Springfield, Illinois, Obama announced that he was running for Democrats in the 2008 presidential election. He subsequently won the presidential election by defeating Republican candidate John McCain, and was inaugurated as president on January 20, 2009. Nine months later, he received the Nobel Peace Prize. In April 2011, Obama announced his reelection for that 2012 presidential election, and on November 6, 2012, he won over Republican candidate Mitt Romney.

As President, Obama has signed the economic stimulus legislation in the form of the "American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009" and the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010 in response to the financial and economic crisis. Other major domestic policy initiatives include the introduction of health care reform in the United States. In foreign policy, Obama joined the US military intervention in the Iraq war, increased the military forces in Afghanistan, signed with Russia the "START" treaty on arms control, ordered US military intervention in Libya and ordered the military operation in Pakistan which resulted in Osama bin Laden death. In May 2012, Obama became the first US president to publicly announce that he supports gay marriage.

Which of these is a factor that contributes to cultural change over time
Makovka662 [10]

Answer:

Blending cultures is a factor that eventually translates to cultural change.

Explanation:

In the day-to-day activities, people encounter others who have different cultural beliefs, traditions and customs. As they interact with other cultural aspects, although there might arise conflicts but eventually there is borrowing and complete culture change.

Cultural blending therefore will lead to cultural change if we are to consider the changes that occur, beliefs, customs and traditions are copied by one community or both.

The ideas copied from the other community will lead to culture change as they will be absorbed to completely become part of their culture and it will no longer be what it used to be.

exis [7]

Answer:

Regulations

Explanation:

Laws are products of written statutes that can be passed either by US Congress or State legislatures. Once the law is passed sometimes, regulations are needed.

Regulations are done by administrative agencies that govern how a law that was already passed will be enforced. Each agency has a subject for example, Securities and Exchange Commission is responsible for regulation on securities laws.

Regulations are codified and published and have the same force as laws.
