Answers and Step-by-step explanations:

9-18.

a) All the angles of a triangle add up to 180, by definition. So, we can write the expression: 30 + 115 + x = 180.

Then, we can just solve for x by subtracting 30 and 115 from both sides:

x = 180 - 115 - 30 = 35 degrees

b) Again all three angles should add up to 180, so:

x + x + x = 180  ⇒  3x = 180  ⇒  x = 180/3 = 60 degrees

9-19.

a) These angles add up to 180:

2x + x + 30 = 180  ⇒  3x + 30 = 180  ⇒  3x = 150  ⇒  x = 50

2x = 50 * 2 = 100

The missing angles are 100 degrees and 50 degrees.

b) Again, these add up to 180:

x + 10 + x + 90 = 180  ⇒  2x + 100 = 180  ⇒  2x = 80  ⇒  x = 40

x + 10 = 40 + 10 = 50

The missing angles are 50 degrees and 40 degrees.

Hope this helps!

Answer:

9-18

a)

x = 180 - (115 + 30) = 180 - 145 = 35°

b)

3x = 180 => x = 180 : 3 => x = 60°

9-19

a)

180 = x + 2x + 30

180 - 30 = 3x

3x = 150

x = 50°

b)

180 = x + 10 + x + 90

180 - 10 - 90 = 2x

2x = 80

x = 40°

What is the answer for x (easy)
kirill [66]

Answer:

x=x

Step-by-step explanation:

3x - 2 = 3 (x - 2/3)

3x - 2 = 3x - 6/3

3x - 2 = 3x - 2

    - 2         - 2

3x = 3x

Given the Trapezoid ABCD

Find the length of AD

Pls helppp
melomori [17]

Answer:

AD = 230

Step-by-step explanation:

AD = 30x - 10

MN = 31x + 1

BC = 30x + 28

To find the length of AD, we need to generate an equation that will enable us to find the value of x.

Thus,

MN = ½(AD + BC) => Trapezoid Midsegment Theorem

Plug in the values

31x + 1 = ½(30x - 10 + 30x + 28)

(31x + 1) × 2 = 30x - 10 + 30x + 28

62x + 2 = 30x - 10 + 30x + 28

Add like terms

62x + 2 = 60x + 18

62x - 60x = -2 + 18

2x = 16

x = 16/2

x = 8

✅AD = 30x - 10

Plug in the value of x

AD = 30(8) - 10 = 230

PLEASE HELP ME ON #7!!!!
Juliette [100K]
Move 13 (or highlight 13 squares) to the right. Then down move down 25, the if you look at the total numbers 13 plus 25. your going to make a square out of those 2 line, then your going to seperate 13 into 2 being 10 and 3. (do a square from that) then do the same with 25. 20 and 5 (turn that into a square)
so 20 times 10 = 100 (shade in 100 in the square and 3 times 20 = 60 (shade that in) then do the same with 5 and 10. 5 times 3 = 15 (shade that in)
Alright, if you did not understand none of that pretty much heres your answer!! "How does it compare?" "well it compares because they have the same sizes just in bigger numbers."
