Answer:

15°

Explanation:

Let the height of the window be 'h'

Let the angle the second ladder make with the ground be 'Ф'

From the image uploaded, height of the window 'h' will be calculated from figure a

Using SohCahToa; we calculate the height of the window 'h' that 10-foot ladder must reach.

sine30 = opposite/hypotenuse

sine 30 = h/10ft

h = 10ft × sine30

h = 10ft × 0.5

h= 5ft; height of the window is 5 foot

using figure b and substituting  the value of h as 5ft, will calculate 'Ф' for 20-foot ladder

sine Ф = 5ft/20ft

sine Ф = 1/4

sine Ф = 0.25

Ф = arc sine (0.25)

Ф = 14.4775°

Ф ≅ 15°

pashok25 [27]

Answer:

ECC RAM

Explanation:

ECC RAM is the most popular Random Access Memory out there that is used by most business servers. Dealing with big data for most huge businesses is crucial. The need to prevent loss of data requires that they purchase ECC RAM. ECC RAM automatically protects the systems from potential errors that occur in memory. Any abrupt changes in temporary data stored in ECC RAM are automatically corrected. This is achieved by an additional memory chip that acts as error detection for the other eight RAM chips.

6. When working with a file,
likoan [24]

Answer:

When working with a file, <u>stabilize</u> the blade in a vis or against a solid surface such as a work bench to avoid injury and to ensure an even stroke

Explanation:

The file can be used to sharpen a blade to increase the effectiveness of the blade. In order to properly sharpen a file in a safe manner, the blades to be sharpen, which ae usually relatively flexible as compared to the file, should be  made stable during the repetitive forward and backward notion of the file, for safety, to avoid being injured by the recoil of the blade, and also to ensure that the stroke is evenly applied to the blade.

If a 60 lb. load is placed on the platform, what will the pressure gauge reading be if the piston area is 5 sq.in? Give your ans
Doss [256]

Answer:

The pressure gauge reading will be;

12 psi

Explanation:

The question relates to relationship of pressure and area

The given parameters for the measurement are;

The weight of the load = 60 lb

The required area of the piston = 5 in.²

Pressure exerted by a force can be defined as follows;

Pressure =  \dfrac{Force}{Area}

The weight of the load = The force applied by the load

Therefore;

Pressure =  \dfrac{Force}{Area} = \dfrac{60 \ lb}{5 \ in.^2}  = 12\dfrac{lb}{in.^2} = 12 \ psi

The gauge reading will be 12 psi.
