If you remove thermal heat from the reaction the reaction will slow down. meaning that there will be fewer collisions occurring between the particles. <span />
The energy of particles or molecules within an object is known as thermal energy. This energy is the kinetic energy of particles due to which particles collide with each other and results in the increase of rate of reaction.
So, when thermal energy is removed from a chemical reaction then it means there will be decrease in kinetic energy of molecules. Hence, there will be less number of collisions thus, there will be decrease in rate of reaction.
Therefore, we can conclude that when thermal energy is removed from a chemical reaction hence fewer collisions occur between particles.
This would happen because the pressure on Mt.Everest is much more higher than the pressure at sea level, the can would probably be swollen so to this too.
