Answer:

12-c

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given that grandma baked 96 cookies and gave them to her grandchildren. One of the grandchildren, Cindy, received c fewer cookies than she would have received had all of the cookies been evenly divided among the 8 grandchildren.

Let us find the number of cookies that each grandchildren will receive, if all of the cookies been evenly divided among the 8 grandchildren by dividing 96 by 8.

\text{When cookies are evenly divided each grandchildren will receive}=\frac{96}{8}

\text{When cookies are evenly divided each grandchildren will receive}=12

Each grandchildren would have received 12 cookies, if the cookies had been evenly divided. Since Cindy got c fewer cookies, so we will subtract c cookies from 12.

Therefore, Cindy will receive 12-c cookies.

From first principle find the derivative of logx
Archy [21]

Hello!

\large\boxed{\frac{dy}{dx}logx = \frac{1}{xln10}  }

Recall that:

logx can be rewritten as:

log_{10}x

Use the equation for the derivative of a log expression:

\frac{dy}{dx}log_{a}u = \frac{1}{ulna} * u'

Substitute in the values in the expression:

logx = \frac{1}{xln10} * 1 = \frac{1}{xln10}

miss Akunina [59]

Answer:

£15

Step-by-step explanation:

Angad : Nick = 5 : 1

Let

Nick share = x

Angad share = x + £60

Angad : Nick

5 : 1 = x + £60 : x

5/1 = x + 60 / x

Cross product

5 * x = 1 * x + 60

5x = x + 60

5x - x = 60

4x = 60

x = 60/4

x = 15

Nick get £15

Answer:

(Kind of cheating but since you're timed I'm just gonna five you the answer:

3/11

Step-by-step explanation:

I got this by guessing a bit, I used what varibles I had and 0.27 & 3 and used them.

So 3/0.27 = 11.11 (Repeating) so then I rounded this to a whole number,

3/11 = 0.27 (Repeating)

One third kaylee's age increased by 12 is equal to twice her age decreased by 3. how old is kaylee?
andreyandreev [35.5K]
I would think Kaylee is 5 since 12 divided by 3 is 4 and 4 * 2 is 8, and 8-3 is 5. So, I would think Kaylee is 5.
