Change the division into a multiplication, and flip the second fraction

(-5/8)/(-1/4) = -5/8 x -4

Multiply across

-5 x -4 = 20

20/8

Simplify.

20/8 simplified = 5/2

5/2, or 2 1/2 is your answer
