Materials are returned to the blood from the filtrate by which process?
ExtremeBDS [4]

Answer: REABSORPTION

Explanation: Reabsorption or tubular reabsorption is one of the processes involved in urine formation, the other two(2) being ultra filteration and and active secretion.

Reabsorption takes place mainly in the proximal convulated tubule of the nephron, nearly all of the water, glucose, potassium, and amino acids lost during glomerular filtration re-enter the blood from the renal tubules, moving solutes out of the filtrate and back into the bloodstream.these solutes that are moved back into the bloodstream goes back into circulation alongside with the blood because it is needed for the normal functioning of the body system and maintanance of homeostasis.

In a situation where tubular reabsorption does not occur as a result of certain conditions like hyposecretion and diabetes insipidus, there will be imbalance of ions in the body as a result of useful ions leaving the body via urine and the body is left with ion deficiency.

The cells of cheek do not have cell wall. They have a cell membrane which allows on certain molecules to pass through it. The nucleus is located centrally in the cheek cells and it stores the DNA. It can be stained with the help of the methylene blue reagent. It appears blue in color which can be observed under the microscope. The cheek cells can be isolated from the buccal cavity by using cotton buds and cotton swabs can help in isolating the cells.

Do the Three Energy Systems work independently of each other; or do they overlap with one another, each one contributing to diff
GrogVix [38]

Answer:

Overlap to some degree...

Explanation:

The three energy systems work co-efficiently to provide body with energy according to the extent of physical activity. Not only these three system work together but the superpose each other to get the cycle keep on going. ATP is the main energy currency made by these systems. When one system produces enough currency, the same currency is again utilized for body as well as for the system to keep on going. These three systems include The Glycolysis, The Immediate Energy Transfer System and The Oxidative System...
