Question 4 (Essay Worth 10 points)
Over [174]

The 3-D shape would be created if the figure was rotated around the x-axis is a cone

<h3>What are 3-D shapes?</h3>

3-D shapes (short form of 3-Dimensional shapes) are shapes that have width, length and height

<h3>How to determine the 3-D shape?</h3>

The coordinates are given as:

(0, 0), (-3, -4) and (-3, 0)

When the above coordinates are plotted on a coordinate plane and the points are connected;

We can see that the points form a right-triangle

See attachment for the shape

As a general rule

Rotating a right-triangle across the x-axis would form a cone

Hence, the 3-D shape would be created if the figure was rotated around the x-axis is a cone

The chance of picking a almond cookie the first time:
you have 6 cookies, 3 of them are almond
So the chance of taking an almond cookie is
\frac{3}{6}  =  \frac{1}{2}
The second time there are 5 cookies left, 2 of them are almond cookies
The chance of taking an almond cookie is
\frac{2}{5}
To know the probability of picking two almond cookies in a row, multiply the changes:
\frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{2}{5}  =  \frac{1}{5}
The chance of taking two almond cookies is 1/5

Stephanie ran four laps around the school track in 7min and 30 sec how many sec per lap is that
tester [92]
Since each min is 60 seconds you multiply 60 by the number of minutes which is 7 and you get 420:

60x7=420 Then you add 30 seconds equaling 450 seconds total

Then you divide 450 by 4 since she ran 4 laps.

So, Stephanie ran 112.5 seconds per lap
