6 0

To multiply these two fractions just multiply both numerators and both denominators.

= \frac{2}{3}*\frac{6}{10}

~Multiply

= \frac{2 * 6}{3 * 10}

~Simplify

= \frac{12}{30}

~Simplify

= \frac{6}{15}

~Simplify

= \frac{2}{5}

2/5 = 0.4

2/3 = 0.6...

0.6... > 0.4

It will be LESS then 2/3.

Best of Luck!

Answer:

\large\boxed{C.\ \dfrac{2x-20}{x^2+6x-40}}

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x)=\dfrac{x-16}{x^2+6x-40}=\dfrac{x-16}{x+10x-4x-40}=\dfrac{x-16}{x(x+10)-4(x+10)}\\\\f(x)=\dfrac{x-16}{(x-4)(x+10)}\\\\g(x)=\dfrac{1}{x+10}\\\\f(x)+g(x)=\dfrac{x-16}{(x-4)(x+10)}+\dfrac{1}{x+10}=\dfrac{x-16}{(x-4)(x+10)}+\dfrac{1(x-4)}{(x-4)(x+10)}\\\\=\dfrac{x-16+x-4}{(x-4)(x+10)}=\dfrac{2x-20}{(x-4)(x+10)}=\dfrac{2x-20}{x^2+6x-40}

A peach is 7 times as heavy as an olive. The peach also weighs 930 grams more than the olive. What is the total weight in kilogr
Dmitriy789 [7]

Answer:

  1.24 kg

Step-by-step explanation:

The ratio of weights is ...

  peach : olive = 7 : 1

In ratio units, the difference of weights is 7-1 = 6 and the sum of weights is 7+1 = 8. Then the ratio of the sum of weights to the difference of weights is ...

  sum : difference = 8 : 6 = 4 : 3

That is, the total weight of the peach and olive is 4/3 times their difference of 0.930 kg:

  total weight = (4/3)·0.93 kg = 1.24 kg
