To improve its effectiveness the texas constitution should have its content reduced and its language updated.

I believe that it is not necessary to change the constitution to increase or decrease the power of state governments, since the current limit has worked to maintain a balance between state, local and federal powers.

The current constitution has been effective in maintaining the limits of state power in the country. For this reason, I do not believe that it should be modified, since taking or increasing the power of state governments can breach the balance between state, local and federal spheres and this would bring more problems than solutions.

However, I believe that the Texas constitution should be modified to be more efficient. This is because the Texas constitution is extremely long, which can prevent people's interest in reading it and getting to know it. Furthermore, it has an archaic language that is difficult to understand, which takes some of its efficiency away. Based on this, I believe that the Texas constitution should be reduced and adapted to the present, making it more current, attractive and easy.
