Answer:

h.2,3,4

Step-by-step explanation:

Any two side lengths of a triangle added together must be bigger than the third side length and the difference of any two side lengths must be smaller than the 3rd side length.

For the option h (2,3,4):

3+2> 4 and 3-2 <4

George's financial outcome was $70. He bought it for $50, and then he sold it for $60 in return. He bought it for $70 again, so subtract 60-70= -10. He then sold it for $80 which he gained so -10 + 80 = $70.

2+8+32+128…..,n=9 <br> Evaluate each geometric series described
DedPeter [7]

The value of 2+8+32+128…..,n=9 is 174762

<h3>How to evaluate the series?</h3>

The series is given as:

2+8+32+128…..,n=9

Start by calculating the common ratio (r)

r = 8/2

r = 4

The sum of the series is then calculated as:

S_n = \frac{a *(r^n - 1)}{r -1}

This gives

S_9 = \frac{2 *(4^9 - 1)}{4 -1}

Evaluate the difference

S_9 = \frac{2 *( 262143)}{3}

Evaluate the quotient

S_9 = 174762

Hence, the value of 2+8+32+128…..,n=9 is 174762

I am simplifying radicals and I've come across one that has me a bit confused.
zhenek [66]

The sqrt of (34 m^4) is  sqrt(34) times sqrt(m^4).

The sqrt of m^4 is easy ... that's just  m^2 .

The other part is more messy.  There's not much you can do with it.

                      sqrt(34) = sqrt(17) times sqrt(2).

That doesn't help make it any simpler.
You might as well just leave it as sqrt(34).

Then the final, simplified form of the original expression is

                          m^2 sqrt(34)

Ms. Ziolkowski asks her class to write the correct trigonometric function for the triangle shown below.
max2010maxim [7]

Alright so these ratios have many different forms but the way I use to remember the trigonometric ratios is:

SOH

CAH

TOA

This means:

Sine --> Opposite/Hypotenuse

Cosine --> Adjacent/Hypotenuse

Tangent --> Oppositie/Adjacent

With that in mind, number 1:

Would be Sine, or C.

Number 2 would be, Cosine, or E.

And number 3 would be Tangent, or B.

Hope that was helpful.
