Answer:

What is the "Scientific Method"? A method of procedure that has characterized natural science since the 17th century, consisting in systematic observation, measurement, and experiment, and the formulation, testing, and modification of hypotheses.

Explanation:

The Scientic Method works, The process of the scientific method involves making conjectures which in other words is a hypothiese , deriving predictions from them as logical consequences, and then carrying out experiments or empirical observations based on those predictions.Scientists then test hypotheses by conducting experiments or studies. Scientists use this method on many experents to collect data easier and to collect measurable, empirical evidence in an experiment related to a "Hypothesis".

Is it possible to have more atoms on the product side of a chemical reaction than there are on the reactant side? Explain why or
Mice21 [21]

Answer:

No, you cannot.

Explanation:

Due to the Law of Conservation of Energy all chemical equations have to be balcned. The Law of Conservation of energy states that matter cannot be neither created nor destroyed. By having more atoms on either side, you are breaking this law.

What is the mass of 5.30×1021 platinum atoms?
DedPeter [7]
(5.08 * 10^21) / (6.022 * 10^23) = 0.0084357 moles * 195.084 g/mol = 1.65 g Atomic mass of platinum = 195.084 g/mol Avogadro's number = 6.022 * 10^23 so here you go

The size of the gas particles compared to the overall volume of the gas is 22.4 L
jeka57 [31]
Well. Yeah. Basically.

1 mole of any gas is 22.4 L.

Not really sure if that answers your question but that's what i know.
Anyway if we are talking about the size then usually gases are filled with empty space.

What is the mass, in grams, of 1.26 mol of water, H2O?
Masteriza [31]

Answer:

The mass of 1.26 mole of water, H₂O, is 22.68 grams

Explanation:

Molar mass is the amount of mass that a substance contains in one mole. In other words, the molar mass of an atom or a molecule is the mass of one mole of that particle and its unit is g/mole.

In this case, being:

 • H: 1 g/mole
 • O: 16 g/mole

the molar mass of water H₂O is:

H₂O= 2*1 g/mole + 16 g/mole= 18 g/mole

Then you can apply the following rule of three: if 18 grams are present in 1 mole of H2O, how much mass is present in 1.26 moles of water?

mass=\frac{1.26 moles*18 grams}{1 mole}

mass= 22.68 grams
