I think that it would be a shame to miss out on someone and such an opportunity. The parents should give their kid a chance. And should keep in mind that everything happens for a reason. It may be expensive if needing to be taken to the hospital constantly but it's so amazing when having the opportunity to help that child grow into a strong and fearless person

Well, it depends on what the parents would want. I personally would still have the child.

The conversation between madame valmondé and désirée gives an example of _____. select all that apply.
NeX [460]
The conversation between madame valmonde and desiree gives an example of Foreshadowing; situational irony;
Considering this Quote;
Madame Valmonde "shuddered at the first sight of it.....It was a sad lokking place.......The roof came down steep and black like a cowl, reaching out beyond the wide galleries that encircled the yellow stuccoed house. Big, solemn oaks grew close to it, and their thick-leaved, far-reaching branches shadowed it like a pall."

The imagery in this quote reveals the darkness of a place that is ironically called a shelter, and Madame Valmonde mentions the "pall" that is cast over the house , that being a term related to death.

using the gas pedal analogy explain the impact on the cell cycle of a proto-oncogene versus an oncogene
rusak2 [61]

Using the gas pedal analogy, the proto-oncogene would be an accelerator since they promote cell division and deregulate apoptosis, while tumor suppressor would be the brakes since they constrain the progress of the cell cycle and induce cell apoptosis. An oncogene is, therefore, when the accelerator is stuck in down position and the brakes are not working.
