How would you solve these if the X goes; -3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3 in a table format
prisoha [69]
You just have to plug in each value of x into the equation of 3x^2. Since y is a function, it is also written as f(x)

Help Please!!
soldier1979 [14.2K]

Answer:

 Coordinate grid shown from negative 2 to positive 2 on the x-axis and negative 2 to positive 2 on the y-axis in increments of 1 over 4. Only the whole numbers are labeled. A point A is shown at the intersection of one grid line to the right of the y-axis and 7 grid lines below the x-axis.

Step-by-step explanation:

0.25 = 1 over 4

 -1.75 = -7 over 4

When grid spacing is 1 over 4, the x-coordinate is 1 grid line to the right of the y-axis, and the y-coordinate is 7 grid lines down from the x-axis.

Sally wants to fill ten 8-inch tea glasses.how much tea does she need
ra1l [238]
More info is needed.  If you were able to provide the radius of the base of the tea glasses as well as the height (8 inches), then it'd be possible to calculate the volume of one such glass.  Are these short and fat tea glasses?  or tall and slim tea glasses?  My point:  We don't know.  Try to supply the missing info.

There are 10 such 8-inch tea glasses.  Of course you could multiply 10 and 8 to get 80 inches, but 80 inches is NOT a suitable measure of the volume of a liquid.
