6 0

Step-by-step explanation:

10x - 15x + 5 = - 45 + 20 \\ or \: 10x - 15x = - 45 + 20 - 5 \\ or \: - 5x = - 45 + 15 \\ or \: - 5x = - 30 \\ or \: \frac{ - 5x}{ - 5} = \frac{ - 30}{ - 5} \\ or \: x = 6 \\ \\ therefore \: the \: value \: of \: x \: is \: 6.

Find the 70th term of the following arithmetic sequence.<br><br> 12,17,22,27,...
nikdorinn [45]
Since it starts at 12 and is increasing by 5 each time, the 70th term will be;
12 + 5(70)
12 + 350
362

362 is the 70th term of the sequence.

What does “ Classify each polynomial by degree and number of terms” mean?
MrMuchimi
Okay so I'm going to try and explain it to you as best as possible. So all they are basically telling you is to give it a name. A degree on a polynomial is the highest exponent on it and the number of terms is the number of numbers. For example: -5x^3 + 2x^2 - 7
This is a 3rd degree polynomial with 3 terms. All you have to do is look at the largest exponent and that is your degree and the number of numbers.

Given an acceleration vector, initial velocity u0,v0,w0 , and initial position x0,y0,z0 , find the velocity and position vectors
dsp73

Answer:

Thus we find that velocity vector at time t is

(5t+15, 5t^2/2, 4t^2)

Step-by-step explanation:

given that acceleration vector is a funciton of time and at time t

a(t) = (5,5t, 8t)

v(t) can be obtained by integrating a(t)

v(t) = (5t, 5t^2/2, 4t^2)+(u_0,v_0,w_0)\\=(5t+15, 5t^2/2, 4t^2)

Thus we use the fact that acceleration is derivative of velocity and velocity is antiderivative of acceleration.

The arbitary constant normally used for integration C is here C vector = initial velocity (u0,v0,w0)

Position vector can be obtained by integrating v(t)

Thus we find that velocity vector at time t is

(5t+15, 5t^2/2, 4t^2)
