The step in the water cycle when this happens is Condensation

The correct answer is condensation.

The procedure by which the droplets of water gets transformed back to liquid water is known as condensation. The step of condensation is very essential to the climate and weather as it is majorly responsible for the formation of cloud. The formation of the cloud takes place when the water vapor condenses around small particles, like smoke or dust in the air.

What is the de Broglie wavelength, in cm, of a 11.0-g hummingbird flying at 1.20 x 10^2 mph?
KonstantinChe [14]

Answer:1.123 x 10^-31cm

Explanation:

mass of humming bird= 11.0g

speed= 1.20x10^2mph

but I mile = 1.6m

1km=1000

I mile = 1.6x10^3m

1.20x10^2mph= 1.6x10^3m /1mile x at 1.20 x 10^2

=1.932 x10^5m

recall that

1 hr= 60 min

1 min=60 secs, 1hr=3600s

Speed = distance/ time

=1.932 x10^5 / 3600= 5.366 x 10 ^1 m/s

m= a 11.0g= 11.0 x 10^-3kg

h=6.626*10^-34 (kg*m^2)/s

Wavelength = h/mu

= 6.626*10^-34/(11 x 10^-3 x 5.366x 10^1)

6.63x10^-34/ 590.26x 10 ^-3= 1.123 x10^-33m

but 1m = 100cm

1.123 x 10 ^-33 x 100 = 1.123 x 10^-31cm

de broglie wavelength of humming bird = 1.123 x 10 ^-31cm

What volume of carbon dioxide gas can be collected from
alisha [4.7K]

Answer:

1.22 L of carbon dioxide gas

Explanation:

The reaction that takes place is:

 • CaCO₃ + HCl → CaCl₂ + CO₂ + H₂O

First we determine which reactant is limiting:

 • Calcium carbonate ⇒ 10.0 g CaCO₃ ÷ 100 g/mol = 0.10 mol CaCO₃
 • Hydrochloric acid ⇒ 0.100 L * 0.50 M = 0.05 mol HCl

So HCl is the limiting reactant.

Now we calculate the moles of CO₂ produced:

 • 0.05 mol HCl * \frac{1molCO_{2}}{1molHCl} = 0.05 mol CO₂

Finally we use PV=nRT to calculate the volume:

 • P = 1 atm
 • n = 0.05 mol
 • T = 25 °C ⇒ 25 + 273.16 = 298.16 K

1 atm * V = 0.05 mol * 0.082 atm·L·mol⁻¹·K⁻¹ * 298.16 K

 • V = 1.22 L

You discover a bottle of aqueous sodium chloride of unknown molarity. However, the bottle says that there are 0.75 moles of NaCl
lara31 [8.8K]
To calculate the molarity you only need to know the number of moles in the solution and the volume of that solution. This exercise gives both and with that you divide moles by volume(usually in liters).

500 ml equals 0,5 L
molarity= number of moles/ volume
molarity=0,75 x 0,5
= 0,375 mol/L

How can we tell the distance sediments traveled due to erosion ?
meriva

Answer:

more rounded the grains are the more they have been moved around

Explanation:

Generally – the more rounded the grains are the more they have been moved around (i.e. the longer the length of time or distance they have moved). Angular grains cannot have travelled far

james needs 4.20 moles of nabr for an experiment. how many grams of nabr must he measure out to have 4.20 moles?
kondor19780726 [428]
75.7 grams.
Convert moles to grams using this:

Moles • grams/1 mole = grams

(Grams is over 1 mole)
