The speed is the change in position divided by the time.

There are four intervals where the speed is uniform:

1) from 0 to 0,5 hours
2) from 0,5 hours to 3 hours
3) from 3 to 4 hours
4) from 4 to 7 hours

We are asked to say the average speed during the interval in which J. is traveling the fastest.

That is where the is more inclined, and that happen in the last interval. There the speed is tha change in position / the time =
(200 -0)miles/3hours = 67 mph.

If you are not sure that this is the fastest speed, you can calculate the speed in the other intervals in the same way and compare.

True or False: The graph below represents the table of values.
Sveta_85 [38]

Answer:

False

Step-by-step explanation:

I would say false;

This graph is really hard to read because of the way it's subdivided but one of the coordinate points is (0,-1) and the line clearly passes through the origin (0,0).

If you have the chance, please tell your teacher to provide better graphs that are actually readable.

Evaluate in 5.
A.) 0.62
B.) 0.70
C.) 1.61
D.) 1.95
Len [333]

Answer:

 • option C) 1.61

Step-by-step explanation:

The question is to evaluate the natural logarithm of 5. Natural logarithms are logarithms with base e.

e is the irrational number equal to 2.71828182845904523536028747 ... (being irrational the decimals do not end and do not have a repetition period).

Logarithms are evaluated using tables or scientific calculators.

ln (5) = 1.6094379... it is also an irrational number, so it has infinite decimals with no repetition period.

So, rounding to two decimal numbers, ln (5) = 1.61, which is the option C).
