Answer:

93.75 m/s

Explanation:

Given:

The frequency of the sound = 750 Hz

The number of pistons making the sound = 8

Revolutions made by the engine = 2000 revolutions/ km

Thus,

the frequency of sound by 1 piston = 750 / 8  = 93.75 Hz

also, it is given that for every other revolution sound is made.

thus, for every 2 revolution sound is made

therefore,

Number of revolutions per second = 93.75 Hz × 2 = 187.5 rev/s

Now,

the speed of the car will be calculated as:

= Number of revolutions per second / Revolutions made by the engine

or

The speed of the car = \frac{187.5\ rev/s}{2000\ rev/km}

or

The speed of the car = 0.09375 km/s = 93.75 m/s

A particle traveling in a circular path of radius 300 m has an instantaneous velocity of 30 m/s and its velocity is increasing a
hodyreva [135]

Answer:

5 m/s2

Explanation:

The total acceleration of the circular motion is made of 2 components: centripetal acceleration and linear acceleration of 4 m/s2. They are perpendicular to each other.

The centripetal acceleration is the ratio of instant velocity squared and the radius of the circle

a_c = \frac{v^2}{r} = \frac{30^2}{300} = \frac{900}{300} = 3 m/s^2

So the magnitude of the total acceleration is

a = \sqrt{a_c^2 + a_l^2} = \sqrt{3^2 + 4^2} = \sqrt{9 + 16} = \sqrt{25} = 5 m/s^2

How is the rotation of the sun, different from the rotation of the earth
vesna_86 [32]

Answer:

The Sun has a north and south pole, just as the Earth does, and rotates on its axis. However, unlike Earth which rotates at all latitudes every 24 hours, the Sun rotates every 25 days at the equator and takes progressively longer to rotate at higher latitudes, up to 35 days at the poles. This is known as differential rotation.

A point charge q1 is held stationary at the origin. A second charge q2 is placed at point a, and the electric potential energy o
likoan [24]

Answer:

U_{b}=+7.3*10^{-8}J

Explanation:

Given data

Electric potential at point a is Ua=5.4×10⁻⁸J

q₂ moves to point b where a negative work done on it  W_{a-b}=-1.9*10^{-8}J

Required

Electric potential energy Ub

Solution

When a particle moves from a point where the potential is Ua to a point where it is Ub the change in potential energy is equal to work done where the force exerted on the charge is conservative and work done is given by:

W_{a-b}=U_{a}-U_{b}\\U_{b}=U_{a}-W_{a-b}

Now  substitute the given values

So

U_{b}=5.4*10^{-8}J-(-1.9*10^{-8}J)\\U_{b}=+7.3*10^{-8}J
