The answer is n=(a-b)-1 because when you subtract a-b, you get almost the number of pages, but as you are counting the page b which has is not torn out, you must subtract 1 to get the correct answer if you plugged in a variable

HELP! Whoever gets it right gets brainliest!!
aleksandrvk [35]

Answer:

D infitently Many

Step-by-step explanation:

A system of linear equations usually has a single solution, but sometimes it can have no solution (parallel lines) or infinite solutions (same line). This article reviews all three cases. One solution. A system of linear equations has one solution when the graphs intersect at a point.

___ x 4 = 12
___ x 5 = 20
___ x 2 = 10
RideAnS [48]

Answer:

3 x 4 = 12

4 x 5 = 20

5 x 2 = 10

Step-by-step explanation:

3 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 12

3 four times equals 12

This is the same for the others

4 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 = 20

Four 5 times equals 20

For what value of a does (1/7)^3a+3=343^a-1?
CaHeK987 [17]

Answer: ok, remember that when

x^a=x^b, when x=x, then a=b

also

x^-m=1/(x^m)

and

(x^m)^n=x^(mn)

so

we can rewrite 1/7 as 7^-1

so

and 343=7^3

7=7 so

-3a-3=3a-3

add 3a to both sides

-3=6a-3

add 3 to both sides

0=6a

0=a

a=0

Answer: 0

What is the nature of triangle formed by the lines x+y=0 , 3x+y=0 , x+3y-4=0
Marrrta [24]

Answer:

 isosceles obtuse triangle

Step-by-step explanation:

The attached graph shows a plot of the three lines.

The triangle is an isosceles obtuse triangle in the 2nd quadrant.

_____

It is convenient to let a graphing calculator plot these lines. If you're going to plot them by hand, it usually works best to choose values of the variables for the variable that has the largest coefficient (3 in two of the equations). That way, you're not trying to plot coordinates that contain fractions.
