External locus of control is the concept of attribution theory. In this locus of control, a person blames his failure to the external factor. In this external locus of control, the person believes for his success in fate or luck so the person makes less effort for success.

From this point of view, the person feels anxiety that nothing in his hand. All whatever he will do for success or failure, all happened because of the fate in luck or destiny. Thus the external locus of control is bad in opposition to the internal locus of control.
